New attitudes, values and opinions are formed via the Internet. What is even more important is that also behavior patterns and actions are changing at a rapid pace. This is particularly notable amongst the ”digital natives” who have been brought up with the Internet, and who see the diversity and unlimited possibilities of the internet as something obvious. At the same time, these changes in approach and behavior patterns place a requirement of an understanding of how and where communication with future citizens will take place.
Consequently, we within PwC, are investing efforts in attempting to understand how young people view these issues – for example, via in-depth interviews, workshops and a survey. PwC had the opportunity to present the results of a survey at a conference which was organized within the framework of Sweden’s EU Presidency.
